Winner of ‘Britain’s Best Pub’ praises EPoS system for success

Viewed as the Oscars of the Pub industry, Director of The Wiremill Inn, Anthony Pender said “We are thrilled to have won not just one but two awards at this event, and always set ourselves high expectations. At the award ceremony held at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London, The Wiremill Inn was also announced as a finalist in the award for ‘Britain’s Best Food Pub 2010’. Running for the passed 20 years, this year’s event was presented by superstar comedian Michael McIntyre.

The judges chose the winning pub based on best customer service, innovation in the industry, staff development and all round appearance. The Wiremill Inn managed to stand out in all categories and was regarded as an asset to the local community, whereby it is estimated that it put back nearly half a million pounds into the local economy.
