STANDEX FSE TO UNVEIL ROAST AND HOLD OVEN AT HOSPITALITY 2011

Standex Food Service Equipment will be exhibiting a representative selection from its comprehensive product range on stand 765 at Hospitality 2011, including equipment manufactured by sister companies BKI, APW Wyott and Bevles.

Hospitality provides Standex with the opportunity to launch its new range of HRHR roast and hold ovens from Bevles. HRHR roast and hold ovens have been developed for slow cooking at lower temperatures, for tender moist food and maximum yield. The cabinets have a roasting cycle of up to 16 hours and may be programmed to switch to holding mode, maintaining optimum temperature and cooked food quality.

The HRHR ovens feature an efficient top mounted heating element and an optional 8.5L capacity humidity system. Accurate and stable temperatures, through a range of 63OC to 118OC, are maintained via solid state controls with a digital display. Full insulation and a magnetic door gasket help prevent heat loss, to ensure accurate temperatures and energy efficient operation. The Bevles roast and hold ovens may be configured to accommodate standard GN pans or a variety of different sheets and pans.

The Bevles ovens are available as full size, half size or under counter models, all of which may be supplied in 864mm or 1092 widths, to meet desired cooking capacity. As standard, the ovens are supplied with a pass though feature, where raw food is loaded from the rear and cooked food is unloaded from the front, minimising the risk of food cross contamination.

HRHR models are manufactured in heavy duty stainless steel for durability and ease of cleaning. The power switch is sealed within the control panel to protect against the ingress of grease and water, whilst the control panel is easy to wipe clean. For mobility, cabinets are mounted on four heavy duty swivel castors, the front two of which are lockable.

Standex will also be exhibiting a wide variety of catering equipment, demonstrating its ability to provide solutions for the broad spectrum of the food service sector. Other equipment on display will include BKI CombiKing ovens, serve over counters, rotary ovens and pressure fryers, as well as hobs, chargrills, griddles, toasters and contact grills, manufactured by APW Wyott.
