METRO DRINKS LAUNCHES NEW RANGE OF GOURMET JUICES
Sussex -based specialty drinks company Metro Drinks is launching Folkington?s, an innovative new range of gourmet juices designed specifically to appeal to soft drink consumers in pubs, bars and clubs. The Folkington?s range , is made from 100% pure juice, has a unique and authentic Spanish provenance and is made from fruits that are harvested, pressed, squeezed and bottled locally, exclusively for the Folkington?s range.
The range offers a gourmet point of difference in terms of juice quality and the stylish packaging has strong back fridge standout that will impress and attract new customers. The brand will not be available in supermarkets, further ensuring a degree of exclusivity.
The juices are produced from selected late-harvested fruit varieties grown by co-operative farming communities in three Regions of North East Spain. The The Folkington?s range consists of three flavours:
1. Orange juice, from late-harvested ?Valencia Late? oranges, a variety noted for its intense and sweet flavour, plus a selected blend of early-harvested varieties including ?Navelina? and ?Salustiana?. The oranges have been grown principally in the Region of Valencia.
2. Cloudy apple juice, from a carefully selected blend of apple varieties noted for their fresh aroma and taste, including the late-harvested ?Fuji? variety. The apples have been grown in the L?rida province of Catalonia.
3. Tomato juice, from hand-picked late-harvested tomatoes grown in small farming communities based around the River Ebro in the Spanish region of Navarra.
Folkington?s Juices offer a twelve months plus shelf life, having been gently pasteurised before being bottled and vacuum sealed, so allowing the freshness, flavour and intensity to be maintained. The juices are 100% pure juice (not from concentrated juice) and are free from all preservatives, additives and added sugar.
