EOWATER ASKS HOSPITALITY VISITORS – HOW CLEAN IS YOUR KITCHEN?

EOwater has issued a hygiene challenge to Hospitality 2011 visitors. “Simply bring along an item from your kitchen that you consider clean and we will test it for you,” says Laurence Bailey, EOwater’s managing director. “We will measure the bacterial content of the item with a Trafalgar Scientific ATP metre, rinse it with ROX water and retest. Prepare to be amazed!”

Electrolysed water has already changed the cleaning and sanitising habits of several countries around the world including Japan and Australia. It is substantially cheaper than traditional chemical sanitisers (it can save around £25,000 a year for medium sized restaurants); it is far safer (in fact hand washing is one of its main applications) and it is completely eco friendly.

ROX works by making hypochlorous acid from water, salt and electricity. Hypochlorous acid is an unstable chlorine that acts on pathogens in seconds before bio-degrading and the speed with which it works before breaking down also prevents pathogens from building a resistance to it.

ROX also produces sodium hydroxide which is an effective cleaner.
