New DECT Handset for Caterers and Hoteliers from Call Systems Technology
First class customer service underpinned by ‘HiFi’ voice and messaging in a multitasking DECT phone that sets new standards in reliability, toughness, safety and appearance.
Stand 325, Hospitality 2011, NEC, Jan 24 - 26
CST’s 3100 Series DECT phones, specifically designed for the hospitality market, feature new safety, multi-functionality and clarity features. They support and monitor all an establishment’s messaging and alarm requirements, withstand dirt and contamination and help protect lone workers. Colour-coded graphics and alarms are instantly-recognisable on the handset display so that staff can immediately identify and swiftly deal with any situation.
The 3100 Series DECT handsets are new, robust and highly suited to all a caterer’s or hotelier’s on-site communication needs. Instead of the two, three or more communications devices that staff used to carry to keep aware of critical alarms and messages, staff now need to carry only one. The 3100 Series handles voice, alarms and SMS texts and offers the clearest possible voice communications, thanks to its HD audio capability.
The new handsets’ IP65 rating handles the splash, dirt and grease problems inherent in busy catering environments.
Alarms from specific areas or departments can be colour-coded, i.e. a leisure centre alarm could be yellow, calls from security might be blue. Emergency alarms can be red, ‘for information-only’ might be green, and so on.
The 3100 critical messaging server (CMS) handles all a site’s messaging and alarms, routing everything through a single DECT 3100 handset. The 3100 delivers a true all-in-one communications solution for the hospitality market with one 3100 handset replacing pagers, other DECT handsets, mobiles, radios and ‘lone-worker’ location devices.
