UK’s largest event for the hospitality and foodservice industry in 2019

This month, the UK’s largest exhibition for foodservice and hospitality, the Great Hospitality Show, is set to welcome over 250 exhibitors from across the industry. When it opens its doors (23rd -25th , Birmingham NEC), the show will also be the very first place in 2017 that visitors will get to meet the innovators of tomorrow as part of dual showcases, the Fresh Tech Zone and Small Producer’s Village.

Both are specialist areas of the show where start-ups and fledgling companies will be exhibiting innovative products from the worlds of food & drink and technology.

The Small Producer’s Village boasts innovative food & drink suppliers including amongst others: Janes Beverages; Sparkling & Floral Mead; Printed Chocolates; Humble Sausage and Pie Co and Medea Vodka.

The Fresh Tech Zone will provide a showcase for the technology movers and shakers of tomorrow with exhibitors including: Voz; Syft; Jamm Products; Rota; Securicot; Bell Group; Devmac; Hantize and Peoplebank.

Both areas, says Toby Wand, Managing Director of Fresh Montgomery, organisers of the Great Hospitality Show, provide the perfect counterpoint to a show packed with some of the biggest innovators in the business, offering visitors a chance to experience new ideas from across the spectrum, regardless of reputation or company size.
“In setting up these specialist areas, we are recognising the proliferation in smaller players having an ever greater say in the hospitality marketplace – these innovative companies are proof that game changing innovation can come from anywhere. We’re proud to be showcasing them as part of the Great Hospitality family, giving visitors their very first experience of the names that will be setting the agenda for years to come.”

Exhibitors from the Fresh Tech Zone are also set to take part in a unique new feature – a visual technology showcase, or ‘PechaKucha’ hosted by HOSPA Chief Executive, Jane Pendlebury, which mixes live quick-fire pitches with expert feedback and audience participation. Taking place on the Business Briefing Stage, at 4pm on Tuesday 24th January, this fun showcase will offer visitors an enticing glimpse of each new exhibitor.
